Two 3-star restaurants recognised in new Michelin Guide

Belgium's culinary landscape has received considerable recognition in this year's Michelin Guide, which was presented at a ceremony at the Queen Elisabeth Hall in Antwerp on Monday.
Zilte in Antwerp and Boury in Roeselare retained their three-star status, while Hof van Cleve, now run by Floris Van Der Veken, secured two stars following its recent change of chef.
Hof van Cleve, in Kruisem, East Flanders, started the year from scratch after renowned chef Peter Goossens left, costing the restaurant its three stars. Receiving two stars is therefore considered a victory rather than a demotion.
Sir Kwinten in Sint-Kwintens-Lennik, Flemish Brabant, is the only restaurant to move up from one to two stars in the guide for Belgium and Luxembourg this year. Chef Glenn Verhasselt's restaurant is the second newcomer to the two-star list, after Hof van Cleve.
Nine restaurants in Belgium and Luxembourg were awarded a star for the first time: Apdikt in Steinfort, l'Impératif d'Eole in Quévy-le-Grand, Hoeve De Bies in Sint-Martens-Voeren, Menssa in Woluwe-Saint-Pierre, La Roseraie in Modave, Julien in Lievegem, Pont Neuf in Antwerp, Neon in Lier and Pré de Chez Vous in Bouge.
Mathieu Vanneste at the three-star Boury was named Sommelier of the Year.
