Man arrested following violent death of 42-year-old woman

A man has been arrested following the death of a 42-year-old woman in Kinrooi, Limburg, the province’s public prosecutor’s office announced. The suspect is a 41-year-old from Kinrooi. 

The woman, identified as Sabine H, was found dead at her home in Kinrooi on Tuesday evening by her 13-year-old daughter, Het Belang Van Limburg reports. Local police attended the scene and informed the public prosecutor as there were signs of violence. 

According to friends, the woman had been stalked for some time and the arrested man is said to be her former partner. The prosecutor’s office has requisitioned an investigating judge for a murder investigation.
