Israeli-Palestinian conflict: No flights to or from Tel Aviv by Lufthansa Group until Saturday
Brussels Airlines and all other airlines of the Lufthansa Group are suspending their regular flights to and from Tel Aviv until Saturday, 14 October, the airline announced in a press release on Monday afternoon.
The decision was taken "due to the still unclear development of the security situation in Israel and after an intensive analysis of the situation".
"We regret that we have had to take this decision," the company says. "We will, of course, continue to monitor the security situation in Israel closely and are in close contact with local and international authorities."
Other airlines, including Air France, KLM and Transavia, have also cancelled flights to Tel Aviv. All airlines say they are closely monitoring the security situation in Israel.
