Polish EU presidency presents cultural programme
Poland, the current holder of the EU presidency, has launched its cultural programme with 100 events and exhibitions in member states and potential future members under the motto Culture Inspires Unity.
The initiative aims to celebrate the EU's cultural diversity, promote a shared European identity and highlight contemporary Polish art, in particular an emerging generation of young artists. The programme also provides a platform for future EU member states to showcase their cultural heritage.

As the capital of the EU, Brussels plays a key role. From 14 January to 30 June, visitors to the European Parliament will be able to see the artwork Regeneration, with other exhibitions taking place in the Justus Lipsius and Europa buildings.
Highlights of the programme include the acclaimed Polish electronic music festival Unsound, which visits Brussels in February, and Familiar Strangers, an exhibition by Joanna Warsza in Bozar from 14 March to 29 June. On 18 June, Flagey will host the Tomasz Stańko Experience, celebrating Poland's rich jazz tradition.
