Belgium's women to face Spain, Italy and Portugal in group stage of Euro 2025

Belgium's women's national football team will take on world champions Spain, Italy and Portugal next summer in the group stage of the European Championship in Switzerland.

The Red Flames qualified for the tournament for the third time in a row at the beginning of this month, at the expense of Ukraine. Belgium were placed in pot 3 in the draw, which took place in Lausanne, Switzerland. Sixteen teams were divided into four groups of four countries. The top two in each group will qualify for the quarter-finals.

Belgium will face Spain, following two previous defeats in European Championship qualifiers, including a 7-0 defeat.

Euro 2025 takes place from 2 to 27 July in Switzerland.
